With my introduction and historical text for each drawing safe in the hands of the publishers, it was next time to think about the cover design.

Meanwhile I met with my agent in London about another exciting book that he instantly thought would be 'right up my street', satirical, naughty, fun-poking and a play on the English language.

I returned to the studio to work on illustrations and started reading endless Spike Milligan and Tommy Cooper scripts.
